What is Included: Course are available in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry and Fishery, Arts, Design and Media, Business Administration and Economics, Computer Science and Engineering, Health and Medical Care, Humanities,
Journalism, Communication and Information, Languages, Law and Legal Studies, Materials, Construction and Manufacturing, Mathematics, Natural Science, Religious Studies, Social Science and Behavioral Science, Social Work and Welfare, and Technology.

All exchange students are offered housing through the university who collaborates with housing companies. You'll be required to pay for the full semester in advance. Housing is typically dorm-room style accommodations with some apartments.

Buddy programs and events for international students are available. There are over 70 student associations and a Friend Families program which connects international students with Swedish families and allows immersion in every day life.

Estimated Costs: The costs involved in studying abroad are comparable to living at Pacific. The main added cost is airfare. Students pay Pacific tuition before departing and then pay Linnaeus's room and board fees while abroad. Housing is estimated at $1400-2100 USD. Students should check with the Financial Aid office to verify whether the entirety of their financial aid package will be provided for their semester(s) abroad.
Program Description

Linnaeus University is located in two cities, Kalmar and Växjö, both with nature just around the corner, adding to the quality of life during your studies. Växjö has been declared 'the greenest city in Europe' and is surrounded by wonderful forests and lakes, while Kalmar is a charming old city dating back to the Middle Ages, beautifully located by the Baltic Sea.

International students often mention the informal relationships with teachers as one of the things they appreciate most as students at Linnaeus University. Other aspects that receive praise are the modern and environmentally-friendly buildings, good connections with businesses and organisations in the area, and the reality-based case studies which add a real-life dimension to the studies.

Eligibility Requirements:

* 2.75 GPA
* No language prerequisite
* Sophomore standing

This is a direct exchange program between Pacific and Linnaeus University in Sweden. You do not need to speak any Swedish prior to studying at Linnaeus University, which teaches all courses in English.

Pacific's Bilateral Exchange programs are suitable for students with strong leadership skills who want an immersion experience studying with local students, relying on local services with no management or oversight by Pacific or other U.S. providers.
